I did not say that.. someone else did and I agreed though. But just because it is impossible to do anything against a decision like that... he has nothing to stand for. If he is innocent then I encourage him to do what it takes to get some disclosure. No I do not know how his family feels about this.. they probably would feel bad I guess...TO be honest it would be hard for me to just let it go... but hey get a lawyer and stick it to them.. what is he waiting on? They are not going to reenstate him right now... so he needs to move on and do what he needs to do.
I'm not sure what he's waiting on, I guess we'll see...I have a feeling before all is said and done that attorney's will be involved...

Yes, I agree with Biggin. This is about Coach Kelly Smith Houseright, not Godsey. Personally, I am sick of the Godsey soap opera anyway. To me it says do your job AND do what the Boss tells you, or you will be pushed out the door. Go whine and cry about King Godsey on the other 2-20 threads already established.
Now, I do think that Kelly will be the next Basketball coach at GC, and with the level of athletes she will be inheriting, she will be successful.

If you read my response I said I was answering a question... you are right Kelly Housewright will be the next coach and they will be fine.

Why? Coach Carter is a much better coach with a lot of success the past two years. He's done a tremendous job. Rye Cove is lucky to have him coaching the girls. </div></div>
No slam against Coach C, who is a great coach and a genuinely good guy. Its just that he was not in the picture (he was coaching boys basketball at Lee High) for RC girls basketball when Kelly first got out of college and was seeking employment with Scott Co. Several of us spoke up in favor of seeing her brought on board, but the "powers-that-be" wasn't interested.
And I would like to see what criteria you use to say that Coach C is a better coach. They are both good friends of mine, and after watching both of them coach over the years, I'd say they both get the most out of the talent they have, the utmost goal of any coach.
